I have a bit of an obsession with accessories around the home, but with a husband with a more minimalist style (which has been growing on me!) I’ve been working on going from cluttered to clean. That doesn’t mean I’ve gone cold turkey though! I will always have a little something special displayed on my coffee table and throw pillows galore.
One of my favourite things to do is explore unique places, and there are a ton of them in downtown Kingston. One of my absolute favourite places to walk around with a coffee in hand with Devon is Antique Alley where we found our vintage speaker end tables. They add a mid-century flare and are a great conversation piece – not to mention we got them for a steal!
I also LOVE my pineapple candy jar!! I got this at End of the Thread Antique Emporium, where I’m constantly holding myself back from leaving there with arms filled with goodies. What I love about this place is its variety, they have tons of original antique items, repurposed industrial furniture and new home decor items like candles and glassware that make awesome gifts. They’re also super friendly there, win win!
That’s all for now! Since putting this post together we installed our curtains and rearranged all our furniture (everything needs a refresh every once in a while – amiright?!) so next time you see pictures of our living room it’ll look quite different!
